The Information Overload Research Group Inaugural Conference was held on July 15, 2008
at The Penn Club in New York City.
The focus of this
event was on questions of interest to companies seeking solutions to the IO
problem
(a research-focused conference is being planned to follow in 2009).
Attendees enjoyed a day of high-level interaction, knowledge sharing, and
learning about the problem of Information Overload, and gained insight into
questions such as:
- What does the problem of Information Overload cost companies?
- What are possible solutions to the problem, and what new developments are in the works?
- What are the smartest and most experienced companies doing today to
combat Information Overload?
